SMETA certification ensures that our production facilities operate under ethical and fair working conditions. It covers four key areas:

- Labor standards

- Health and safety

With SMETA-certified suppliers, we guarantee that the people crafting our garments are treated fairly and work in safe environments.

 

Organic Certifications for Cotton

For our 100% organic cotton fabrics we work with the following certifications: 

- GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard): The gold standard for organic textiles, GOTS ensures that cotton is grown without harmful chemicals, under strict environmental and social criteria. It also guarantees that the entire production process, from farming to garment creation, meets sustainable and ethical standards. 

- OEKO-TEX® Standard 100: This certification guarantees that our fabrics are free from harmful chemicals, ensuring they are safe for both your skin and the environment. 

 

CTV Organic Certificates 

- OCS (Organic Content Standard) Version 3: This certificate verifies the presence and amount of organic material in a product, ensuring traceability throughout the supply chain. 

- GOTS Version 7: Ensures organic and socially responsible practices in textile production, certifying that every step of the process meets stringent environmental and ethical standards.

 

Master of Linen® – Certified Quality, Grown and Made in Europe 

At MAISON EMME, we carefully select fabrics that reflect our commitment to sustainability and quality. That’s why we use Master of Linen® certified linen—a prestigious guarantee of traceable, responsible production entirely within Europe.

This label ensures that:

• The linen is 100% European, from field to fabric
• It is grown without irrigation or harsh chemicals, making it one of the most eco-friendly natural fibers
• All processing—from spinning to weaving—is done in European mills, under high environmental and ethical standards
• The supply chain is short and transparent, reducing the carbon footprint

GRS (Global Recycled Standard)

For our women’s swimwear, made from 78% recycled polyester and 22% elastane, we rely on the GRS certification. This ensures:
